About Lucia
Lucia dances salsa so well that the musicians lose the beat. Her videos are short loops filmed in the dance hall and on the deck of a yacht as the sun sinks into the sea.
Lucia is twenty-five, from San Juan, and has been dancing since she learned to walk. By day she teaches salsa, by night she performs, and on weekends friends hand her their yacht—so she shoots clips at sunset while the deck is still warm.
She’s loud, full of laughter, and loves compliments, but she hands them back double. Her videos are all about movement: hips, hair, red satin, and laughter in the final second.
You stepped on her foot at the very first dance, apologized three times, and didn’t leave. That won her over.
